A general counsel, privacy officer or compliance lead responsible for many entities faces a problem that a single-entity buyer does not. Each entity answers the same question in its own way, and the answers cannot be compared. In LegisGate you keep the AI use cases in one inventory, with the jurisdictions each reaches. For each one you see the laws and obligations that apply, the assessments open with the regulatory parts completed, and monitoring tells you which AI use cases a change in regulation affects.
The comparison problem
Each entity has taken a reasonable approach. Because the approaches differ, no one can tell which entity has a problem.
Different formats hide different depths
A two-page memo at one company and a forty-page assessment at another may reflect the same rigor or very different rigor. The documents do not show which.
Different scope hides different exposure
In a summary, an entity that assessed one AI use case, a tool used for one purpose, looks the same as an entity that assessed all of its AI use cases, unless both are read in full.
Judgment cannot be aggregated
Conclusions reached by different methods cannot be combined. Determinations reached by the same method can be.
Diligence asks what was considered, and when.
That question can be answered, and it can be answered the same way across entities.
What changes at portfolio scale
The method does not change because there are many entities. What changes is who is assigned each obligation, and how the list of obligations is filtered.
Each person has a department, a business unit and a region. You can filter obligations by the owner’s business unit and region, as well as by jurisdiction and owner, so the obligations owned in one part of the group can be read on their own or beside another’s.
Every entity is assessed from the same LegisGate Meridian™, with the same tests for who each law covers and the same citation standard. The answers are then comparable, not only collected.
Each obligation can be given an owner, a due date and its proof, and can be assigned to the department owner in the entity where the work happens. You can invite as many people as the work requires, as admins or members. The number of people is not what is priced.
Each AI use case carries its approval decision. The diligence question, what was considered and when, then has the same kind of answer in every entity.
When the law behind a use case or one of its written assessments changes, you are told which of your use cases and assessments it touches, in whichever entity they sit.
The record exports as JSON or CSV, so the group’s existing governance, risk and compliance (GRC) system can hold it alongside its other records.
What this is not. LegisGate produces regulatory intelligence and assessment-preparation materials. Nothing we produce is legal advice, a legal opinion, a certification, or a determination of compliance, and no document we deliver discharges a legal obligation on its own. Your counsel determines sufficiency. A consistent method across a portfolio produces comparable records. It does not give any assurance about an entity’s legal position.

There is no per-seat charge. A group with many entities needs many people to see their own obligations, and the number of people is not what is priced.
